VRB mahogany
I have buildt giuitars for almost 45 years and I can truly say that I have tried every model and shape, just to find out that the model I started with the VRB is the closest to the sound I have been chasing. So now in 2026 I have decided to only build the VRB and nothing else. I have gone thru the hole process again just to fine tune everything to get the best guitar that I can do.
This model is now available in two variantions, one with sapele mahogany on back and sides with herringbone rosett and one model in east-inidan rosewood in back and sides with and blue paua rosett.
Both variations have and swiss alp spruce top, called moon spruce. This special spruce is cut down in the winter and two days before the full moon, the the force of the earth is the strongest and the three has less water in it. Then it is dried for at least three years outside under a roof. Then kiln dried. When I get the wood I let it dry for another three years.
Now you can order these guitars thru my website, just send me an email and we go thru all the details.

The VRB mahogany has all the "Sanden" features.
The japanese brushstroke bridge, the abalone butterfly at the 12th fret and the zero fret. The slim neck profile makes it easy to play. The combination of the swiss alp spruce top and mahogany back and sides gives the guitar a very well balanced sound.
It comes with a hardshell case in tweed for that old style look.
