This R42 has the big sound you can expect from a sloped shoulder guitar. The torrified sitka spruce top together with the Sapele mahogany gives the guitar that old big wellbalanced sound. The body has also the old style herrinbone purfling. The scale length is 630 mm and has this smooth playing feeling. The body is high gloss cellulosa laqcuer and the neck has a satin finish. The guitar comes with the Sanden hardshell case.
