The Sapele series

We now introduce the new sapele series. All our models are available with these features.

The sound of these guitars have a little more ”bite” than regular mahogany, and fits most kind of playing styles. If you need  more of a fingerpicking style guitar choose the smaller SRB, if you want both fingerstyle and a good strumming guitar choose the VRB and if you want the biggest sound you can get, then the JRB is the guitar for you.

We have for a long time looked for a good wood that can complement the east-indian rosewood, without sacrificing the sound and here we have found it. The quality as you can see on the pictures is just stunning, perfect quatersawn with almost flames to it. The colour is a very warm deep red to brown and together with flamed maple bindings, these guitars stands out both in sound and looks.

Perfect match

With wood from the same tree, we can garantie a perfect match between the back, sides and neck. Choose from satin or high gloss finish on the neck.

The new tuners

We have decided to change our machine heads on all our guitars (except for SRB-ee) to Schertler, a Swiss manufacturer. This is a step up in quality, they are handmade and have a 18:1 ratio, which makes the guitar very easy to tune. We will have them in gold and satin black.
